Join your local community and gear up for some 5v5 competitions in 2026

There’s nothing quite like the skill and strategy that comes with playing as a full 5 stack on VALORANT. Whether you’re trying to flex your latest agent pick up, coordinate your team with smokes and flashes or just want to show off your latest line ups and set yourself up for an easy win, the Northern European National competitions are the best place to do that.

If you’re based in Sweden, Finland, Norway or the United Kingdom we’ve got something for you with National Competitions with players from your countries. Our National Leagues are throwing open their sign-ups for the 2026 Winter Season, giving players of all skill levels a chance to compete in weekly 5v5 matches, climb the competitive ladder and create memories with your squad. These leagues aren’t just about the competition but about the game, the community, progression and the unforgettable moments you only get when you’re playing as a team.

For Irish and Finnish players, we’ll have some more news for you later in 2026!

What Are the National Leagues?

Under the Beacon umbrella and Challengers North//East, the official VALORANT Challengers League representing Northern Europe are six National Competitions that focus on bringing local teams together in spirited competition for players from the following countries:

  • Denmark

  • Sweden

  • Norway

  • Finland

  • Ireland

  • United Kingdom

Each league hosts regularly scheduled matches that are slightly different by country so check with your local organiser on when everything starts and how often you’ll be playing. At the end of the regular season playoffs bring the most intense battles and a winner takes all format.

Best of all? There are no rank requirements to join. Whether you’re a high-ranked Radiant player, a Diamond friend group looking to test yourselves outside the ranked ladder or are getting started in Silver or lower you’ll find a competitive place to play with people at your level.

Are National Competitions for me?

If you’ve never played before, are the National Competitions for you? Here’s what to expect:

Great teamplay

Playing VALORANT as a 5-stack is a very different experience to solo queue. You get to experience the best coordination with your teammates and earn the wins through deep teamplay. Each victory highlights a great moment with your squad.

Community & Camaraderie

Local players and rivalries start in the National competitions. Find people to play with and against to improve your play and start to get to know players near you. Talk about what’s happening in your country, arrange scrims and extra games to play and learn to be the best player you can be.

Regular Scheduled Matches

Every game counts. You need to show up ready, bring your highest level plays but also have fun every week.

Competitive Progression

National leagues tie into the wider European ecosystem. If you’re aiming to get to VCT EMEA or Challenges North//East this is the place to start. You can promote up the ranks and qualify for North//East through Eclipse, giving you a progression path beyond your local league if you want it.

How to Sign Up

Signing up is simple! Gather your five-player roster (or use the Discord channels to find teammates), and check out your local league’s sign-up page. The sign-ups for each national league are live now or in early December, so don’t miss the chance to secure your spot and start practicing ready for season start next year.
