Competitive Ruling: Tat Cam "Nomsenpai" Khôn

VALORANT Esports has banned Tất Cẩm "Nomsenpai" Khôn for cheating in official VCT matches. He will be ineligible to participate in all official Riot competitions for 36 months, starting 26 January 2022. His team, “Ice Cee Jay Too”, will be disqualified from Stage 1 of VCT APAC 2022.

CONTEXT

Cheating in any VALORANT queue is against the rules of competitive play and violates the rules of fair play. Maintaining the competitive integrity of our tournaments is a top priority and VALORANT Esports takes such matters very seriously. As Vanguard is continually improved upon, Riot’s ability to detect cheating in VALORANT increases. While all players are expected to abide by the rules of fair play, professional players are subject to additional penalties if caught cheating.

RULING

Tất Cẩm "Nomsenpai" Khôn has violated section 7.2.5 of the VALORANT Champions Tour - Global Competition Policy by cheating during the VCT 2022 Stage 1 Vietnam Open Qualifiers. He will be banned from participating in all official Riot competitions for 36 months, starting 26 January 2022.

Additionally, Nomsenpai’s team “Ice Cee Jay Too” will be disqualified from Stage 1 of the 2022 VCT.

RELEVANT RULES

7.2.5 - Cheating is prohibited. Any modification of the VALORANT game client by a Team or Team Member is prohibited. The use of any kind of cheating device or cheat program shall be deemed cheating.
