PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Verizon Game Changers Caster Training is an educational program open to women of all backgrounds in the US and Canada who have experience casting VALORANT and are eager to continue developing their talents.

For the initial series, six women will be accepted into the program and will receive an all-inclusive trip to Los Angeles to hone their skills at the Verizon 5G Labs in Playa Vista (Oct 18 - Oct 22).

While at the Verizon 5G Labs, the casters will receive professional training in an array of topics, such as: fundamental principles of commentary in tactical FPS, how to cast with a partner, building your brand online, the relationship between casters and the broadcast team, and more. Top VALORANT broadcast talent and industry experts will serve as professors in their respective fields.

We’re thrilled to be hosting this event at the Verizon 5G Labs in Playa Vista, a state-of-the-art facility that boasts the latest in 5G technology. The program attendees will be given access to state-of-the-art broadcast equipment and technology, including the virtual production stage, and learn how 5G and edge computing are transforming the future of content creation.
