What’s New in VALORANT Episode 4 Act II

In Act II we put in work, work, work, work, work, work.

Earlier this year we announced that Episode 4 Act II was going to be all about taking a breather on the new Agent and map side of things to take a look around and strengthen areas that were in need of some extra support. This includes the long anticipated Yoru rework, a clearer definition of our Controller Agents, and your usual patch updates.

Keep your eyes on our news page for upcoming deep dives on these updates. Our first Community Battlepass and new Gaia’s Vengeance skinline drops too!

VALORANT’s Controllers help shape the fight to fit their team’s plans—Omen, Brimstone, Astra, and Viper all get the job done. But each of these Agents should be coveted for their individual skill set, that’s why each Controller is going through the workshop and should come out with more distinct power profiles.

When fighting in the arctic, location is everything. Icebox goes under the hammer in order to revamp the post-plant possibilities on B site, along with some quality of life improvements. Sorry not sorry about your lineups

COMMUNITY BATTLEPASS

The Act II Battlepass contains a collection of popular community memes and themes made into Sprays, titles, and Gun Buddies.

When planning for this Battlepass, we wanted to create items that would resonate with our global players. So we worked with our regional VALORANT teams to come up with items that reflect their popular local memes, traditions, and callouts. From blasting toxic players with Jett’s “Stop!” spray, taunting your opponents with Raze’s “Hang Loose” spray, or nomming your favorite Mi Goreng noodles—we tried to incorporate a WIDE array of different ideas into our first Community Battlepass.
