What’s New in VALORANT Act II

Fresh Battlepass, Killjoy arrives, Glitchpop, and a bevy of new ish.

Launch was the start of Episode I, where in Act I, you got Reyna, Ascent, Elderflame and the VALORANT Battlepass—a way for us to reward you for the time you give VALORANT with unique items that personalize your gameplay.

Now Act II is live.

AGENT: KILLJOY

WEAPON SKIN: GLITCHPOP

These new skins toss your weapons into a 22nd century blender, topped with shades of a dystopian dark that’ll have you hacking cyberbrains in no time.

Frenzy, Judge, Bulldog, Odin, Melee get the Glitchpop drop. Included are 7 levels of upgrades, like a finisher, kill banner, variants, and an accessory bundle.

ACT II BATTLEPASS

Play VALORANT during Act II, earn XP and progress toward unlocking cosmetic items for your collection: weapon skins, Player Cards, Gun Buddies, Sprays, and Titles.

COMPETITIVE: ACT RANKS & IMPROVEMENTS

VALORANT updates our competitive system at the start of Act II with Act Ranks along with some improvements to Competitive matchmaking to reduce the frequency of solo queue players vs five stack premades and the ability to view your friends Match History and rank info.

Act Ranks is our way to commemorate your proven skill for an Act. Each Act your top nine wins and number of rank wins will determine your Act Rank Badge and border which will be displayed on your player card in Competitive games.
