Champions of Champions: Fan Art, Cosplay, Esports Edits

Champions isn’t just about what happens on stage. It’s about the community that makes VALORANT what it is.

To celebrate our community’s creativity alongside the competition at VALORANT Champions Paris, we’re launching something new: Champions of Champions. Whether you’re an artist, cosplayer, frag-reel editor, or all of the above, we want you to show us what you got and submit your work for an opportunity to represent your region.

Here’s a quick breakdown of how the contest is structured:

  1. There are three submission categories: Fan Art, Cosplay, and Esports Edit

  2. Submissions are open August 15-22.

  3. A team of Riot judges will be handpicking the top 25 submissions per region, per category, to go to the Voting Rounds.

Now, let’s get on with the details:

FAN ART: SHOW US WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO CLUTCH

Ever been the last player standing, heart pounding as you defuse with 0.01 seconds left or land that impossible flick to clinch a 16–14 overtime?

We want you to show us your VALORANT fan art that captures exactly how the clutch moments feel, in your own style. And in the spirit of celebrating VCT, please include the Champions trophy in some way, shape, or form.

COSPLAY: SHOW US YOUR COSPLAY

Built or bought, we want to see how you bring the VAL world to life, make it your own, and use it to stand out from the crowd.

Submit a photo of yourself in a VALORANT cosplay that makes us do a double-take. Feel free to edit the image however you’d like as long as you and your cosplay are clearly visible and there is no use of AI. Want to dress up as Reyna? Do it. Want to be everyone’s little bro Wingman? Nice. Want to dress up as A-Site Heaven on Ascent? PLEASE go for it because how would you even do that?

ESPORTS EDIT: SHOW US YOUR EDITING SKILLS

In 30 seconds or less, we want to see a video edit using professional VCT gameplay from Global Events or International Leagues. Whether it’s a compilation of headshots, a slow-motion edit of one kill, or any other insane thing you want to make. As for the music, you’ll have two playlists you can select a track (or tracks, who knows?) from the guidelines section at the end of this article.

How it works:

Submission Week: August 15-22

  • You have from now until Submission Week to come up with your beautiful creation.

  • Submissions will take place at https://ftw.riotgames.com/valorant. The Champions of Champions page will go live closer to Submission Week, so make sure to check it out for any updates, submission requirements and other rules!

  • To submit, you will need to post your submission to a supported social media platform. Look for more details around supported platforms later this summer!

Selection Round:

Once submission week closes, a team of Riot judges will select their top 25 per category, per region to go to the voting rounds. Submissions will be judged based on creativity, relevance to the theme, execution, and adherence to the guidelines. Works that do not fully follow the general or category guidelines will be disqualified from consideration for the Voting Rounds regardless of how unique they may be.

Voting Rounds:

There will be three rounds of competition, with advancing contestants selected as part of a mix between community votes and a Riot judging panel. As with the Selection Round, submissions will be judged based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and execution, but now with fan voting considered as part of the overall evaluation. The judging and final determination of who moves to the next round will be at the sole discretion of the judges. Players can connect to their Riot account to vote for their favorite submissions for every region.

Round 1 (Group Stage): September 12-22

  • The top 25 for each region will be featured on the Champions of Champions page for players to vote.

  • Players have until September 22nd to vote for their 5 favorite submissions.

Round 2 (Playoffs): September 25-29

  • The top 8 for each region will have moved on to round 2 for the next round of voting.

  • Players have until September 29th to vote for their favorite submission.

Round 3 (Finals): October 3-4

  • The top entry for each region will advance to the final round of voting.

  • Players have until October 4th to vote for their favorite submission.

The winner of each category will be announced at VALORANT Champions Paris Grand Finals on October 5th and have their work featured at Riot HQ!
