Celebrate Pride with your VALORANT community.
Happy Pride Month, everyone!
Like every year since VALORANT’s release, we want to kick off the month by celebrating the many vibrant and diverse members of LGBTQIA+ community who help make VALORANT a place where everyone feels welcome.
We’ve got a new Pride title, gun buddy, and our returning Player Cards to help you celebrate in game. And if you want to show some Pride out of game, be sure to stop by the new mural we commissioned for Masters Toronto from community artist, Strawberry7. You’ll find it taking over the corner of Trinity-Belwoods park about a 20 min walk from where the games will be played.
Alright, now let’s hear from some of the voices in our community who bring players together no matter their background. And keep reading for Pride redemption codes and some artwork submitted in our community Discord.
Creators Create Communities
This year we wanted to highlight some of our LGBTQIA+ creators, artists, and cosplayers who’ve found a sense of inclusion and identity within our ecosystem, some of whom have even used VALORANT to form their own unique communities and spaces. Check out their stories and their channels below.

"Having LGBTQ+ representation shows that Valorant is open and welcomes everyone no matter who they are or who they love. I have met and made friends with so many wonderful cosplayers and VALORANT fans from the queer community, and witnessed how characters like Raze, Killjoy, and Clove show them that they are represented and celebrated with pride. I think having characters who are LGBTQ+ as part of their identity but not as their defining characteristic is so rewarding, as it makes so many people in the community feel seen.
Cosplaying as Killjoy is a huge comfort to me and celebrates part of my identity that I share with her. My girlfriend and I love cosplaying our favourite Agents together at events and meeting other VALORANT fans. I love my community and ensure it is a safe space for others. I'm always happy to offer advice to help others make their cosplays and bring their favourite characters to life so they can feel that same joy."

“Being a queer person playing online first-person shooters was definitely nerve-wracking at times. But VALORANT quickly became a game I genuinely loved, and that love pushed me to create a space where other queer folks could enjoy the game too, regardless of skill level. I wanted to build a community where people could not only watch VALORANT content but also feel welcome and safe to play the game they love.
Thanks to Riot, I've had the opportunity to take part in incredible influencer moments that have allowed me to showcase both my gameplay and my passion for fostering a growing, supportive queer VALORANT community. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to create a space filled with fun, good vibes, and genuine connection. Also being one of the first drag artists to publicly play the game it just makes things more entertaining.”

“My name is Alice. I’ve been playing and streaming FPS games full-time since 2019. I started out on R6, but for a while now, I’ve wanted to branch out into other games, which is why I began playing VALORANT around summer 2021—at first just for fun, then more competitively. In 2024, I became an official caster for both games, and I don’t plan on stopping there.
I often speak openly about my relationship with my girlfriend—not only because I’m proud to be with her, but also to show people that there’s nothing wrong with loving someone of the same sex. The more representation we have, the more people can relate—or even just see it as something normal.”

“When I was given the location for the Clove mural, it felt as though the stars had aligned. Clove had been and still is one of the best representations of myself in any form of media. From having the same identity (non-binary), sharing a hometown (Edinburgh), to even sharing hobbies, personality traits, and some physical similarities on top of that.
Being able to see such a beautiful set of artwork for a character that I saw so much of myself in was honestly a life changing experience. I had felt so seen with one of my main interests (VALORANT) and my own identity just being mashed together in an amazing display of artwork. I’d be lying if I said I don’t think about it nearly daily.”

"When I first started playing VALORANT, I was mainly a lifestyle creator, so stepping into the gaming world felt completely new. I had seen interesting gaming clips before but was hesitant to share my own content. However, solo queuing and meeting so many kind people in the VALORANT community gave me the confidence to start posting on TikTok and streaming on Twitch. This journey helped me build a diverse and positive space where people can express their true selves without fear. Through VALORANT, I’ve met some of my best friends, traveled to several countries for events, and cultivated a community that truly sees and supports me for who I am."
Ali Izquierdo | LATAM

"VALORANT was and is definitely the first game that made me want to be a pro or at least try it haha my community loves it as much as I do. They are super inclusive and always make me feel important. I've got the chance to meet a lot of important people to me from the LGBT community, especially my GF"
Hidden Mistake | LATAM

"Hello everyone! I'm Hidden Mistake, the magical drag queen. I'm a drag queen, cosplayer and a streamer from Chile but I've been living in Mexico for three years now.
When it comes to what I do, the community is truly important. Video games are accessible to people of all ages, and it's wonderful to build a community within them. I was fortunate enough to be Clove at their release in Mexico, and VALORANT is a game that brings communities around the world closer together.
The reception was very warm, and it's nice to see representation of the community I represent in games, since we exist in everyday life. We will always be grateful to Riot for this opportunity and for seeing and reflecting us in the characters of their world."
Klairs | OCE

“As a trans VALORANT creator, I've dedicated myself to building spaces where 2SLGBTQIA+ players can thrive—from hosting safe-space custom lobbies to streaming with a focus on empowerment and visibility. VALORANT didn't just help me find my voice, but it also gave me the tools to uplift others, and create a community where marginalized gamers feel heard and celebrated. Nothing compares to the euphoria of seeing teammates (or even opponents) proudly equip their Pride banners—a reminder that no one has to hide who they are.”
