Who is Hush?

Hush is VALORANT’s Agent 31—a Radiant and telekinetic operative from the Guangdong province of China. She’s a Duelist who uses telekinesis to physically manipulate the things around her. And yes, she can even toss her enemies around, although that requires a liiiittle bit more concentration (AKA eight ultimate points).

But don’t let the sound of that power fool you, she’s not all business all the time. Hush is quirky and eccentric with a genuine curiosity about the other people around her. She is as precise and detail-oriented on the battlefield as she is in her work. Hush’s inquisitive nature and attention to detail helped her excel in her previous role, working in some of the more shadowed halls of Kingdom Corp, before ultimately joining VALORANT Protocol.

Fashion, Function, and Personality

Just like in her work, Hush takes pride in her appearance. She follows the latest trends and believes in being appropriately dressed for every occasion. Her attire straddles the line between couture and battle-ready, with accessories and finishing touches that are unmistakably her own.

Some of those accessories are little keepsakes she’s had since childhood, while some are a bit more lethal. On her belt, she wears cute little Ghosties that she got from a gacha machine in her youth. On her wrist, a beaded charm bracelet that she manipulates and changes when using her abilities. Oh, and did we mention a couple of flashbangs on her thigh?

And if you look closely, you’ll realize that none of these things are fastened to her. She holds them close at all times with her telekinetic powers.

But what’s a good outfit without the hairstyle to match? Hush’s hair is never unkempt or out-of-date, and the color is as complex as she is. Her hair has a soft sheen, with a gradient from light purple to light blue that creates a pearlescent quality and responds to environmental light. Safe to say, she spends a lot of time in the salon chair.

And if you haven’t already noticed, zoom in on her jacket, skirt, and leggings. You might spy patterns that closely resemble the folds in the human brain. Coincidence? Of course not.

Hush’s hobbies and relationships with people also reflect her curiosity and desire to keep precise records. Hush is an avid journaler, scrapbooker, and mahjong player, and there’s never been a scary movie she couldn’t handle. She’s down with all things spooky.

Hush also loves Cantonese chicken hotpot and can likely be found having a bowl with Sage, her closest friend in VALORANT Protocol. And if you couldn’t tell from her reveal cinematic, Hush’s mother is the most important person in her life. She’s a good daughter and makes the time to talk to her mom every single day…even if that means answering a phone call in the heat of battle.

After the day is done, Hush can be found winding down by reflecting on her experiences in her journal. She loves to take time to reflect and organize her thoughts before leaving on her next assignment, just like she also meticulously organizes her outfit for the next day in the evening prior.
